Da dieses Buch mich zwar recht nett unterhalten, aber letztlich nicht überzeugt hat, kann ich auf Allen Carrs Hilfe glücklicherweise auch verzichten. Das Buch darf in der Box weiterreisen.
Aus der Box geschnappt, um meine Englischkenntnisse aufzufrischen.
Ich habe das Buch für die Bergabbau-Challenge "Vom Mount Everest zum Brocken" gelesen.Die Aufgabe für den Monat April 2024 lautete:

Lies mindestens ein Buch, in dessen Titel Begriffe vorkommen, die mit Begrüßung oder Verabschiedung zu tun haben.
This tiny little book has been on my shelf for a long time. Now I finally started, and it was a quick read. As I never smoked, I had no advantage from the advises given in the book. But I just wanted to brush up my English, and it worked. I pity all those smokers standing outside the restaurants in the cold and hope they can stop this unhealty habit. The book will continue its voyage soon.
