Somehow I have 2 copies of this on my shelf which means I really liked it at one point. Anne McCaffrey is not a lyrical writer but she usually has an interesting plot and this is no exception.

I'm sending this as part of a birthday package. It's a bit different from what's on the birthday person's usual reading, so maybe it will be a fun change.
