Bought this at a library sale or a thrift store used book sale.

I read this story for the first time ever a few years ago. I already knew the basic story, so that wasn't a surprise. I can imagine how shocking it must be for people who don't know the secret about the two men, though! And even though I already knew the basics, I was still spellbound and captivated by the tale. It sent shivers up my spine more than once! It also gave me a lot to think about as far as the human condition.
