"Never in the delirious dream of a disordered brain could anything more savage, more appalling, more hellish be conceived than that dark form..."
The coroner may have ruled death by natural causes, but Sherlock Holmes knows there 's something more sinister behind Sir Charles Baskerville's demise. The question is, could he really have fallen victim to the legendary phantom hound, the curse of his ancestors and said to have haunted the family for generations? Or is this the work of a very real and calculating murderer?
Terrifying, thrilling and addictive _this celebrated tale of chilling murder, pleayed out on the bleak, eerie wilds of a West Country moor, never ceases to enthral generation after generation...
Since his first appearance in 1887, Sherlock Holmes has become the world's best-known detective _instantly recognisable, famed for his razor-sharp mind and unparalelled powers of deduction. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's tense, atmospheric recreation of Victorian London and the crimes of the age provide a raft of thirlling stories for the modern reader to lose themselves in.

Arrived here today - thanks so much for the trade Eva. :)
My first Sherlock Holmes and I quite enjoyed it. It has a rather modern writing style and the detective techniques are readily identifiable within a context of modern police stories. And the mystery kept me guessing.
