I hate it that the covers of this book are falling apart. The pages are still sound, and I love the terrific Jean Charlot illustrations. I don't know how long it will last, but I can't resist labeling and releasing this book even though it's fragile.

New Mexico is the 47th state: the Land of Enchantment. I've been to Carlsbad Caverns twice and hope to go again someday. I'd also love to make it to the balloon fiesta - I've never been up in a hot air balloon but it's on my list of things to do. :)
