Living Dead In Dallas (Southern Vampire Mysteries, book 2)

There just IS no perfect category for these Sookie Stackhouse novels. Part mystery, part fantasy, part romance, part thriller -- all enjoyment. If you are familiar with the HBO series "Tru Blood," then you know the basics: She is a waitress who, despite her best efforts not to, can read other people's thoughts ... that is until Bill (the Vampire) walks into the diner. He is (blessedly) a blank slate to Sookie. They become romantically involved and then REALLY strange things start to happen!
In this one, Bill and Sookie are called (more like commanded) to Dallas so Sookie can use her ability to find out diabolical plans the Fellowship of the Sun has for the Dallas area vampires. But you can be sure it involves exposing SOMEONE to sunlight!
