Well that certainly doesn't tell you much! I picked this up at the annual library benefit. I've never read Allende before this, and she's a very lovely storyteller! She's got an old-fashioned way of throwing together juicy bits and quick descriptions that draws you right into the book. I also loved the setting and all the stories within the story. Good book, and a different one for me lately.
