Just got this book today, so thought I'd be good & register it right away, all ready for reading and stuff!

I got off to a very slow start with this book. Considered giving up many times during the first 60-80ish pages. I'm not sure if that part was not so well written or if it's a problem with my brain (thinking the latter as I seam to have this trouble alot these days).

But I percivered and I am so glad I did. I had absolutly no Idea there was a First Blitz of London and the South East of England during the First War. I mean the technology was still so new. I had to keep reminding myself that what I was reading about occured nearly 100 years ago! I was also heartbroken to read of the ordinary civilians suffering.

This book presented both sides of the story (English and German). I do think it such a shame the the First World was is almost neglected by history, and all focus seams to be on the Second World War. I definatly would recomend this book. Once I got going had real trouble stopping!
