9 out of 10

I bought this book at Daunt Books in Holland Park one Friday afternoon. I guess I was in the mood for an intellectual book and boy, was this it.

This book is the supposed secret history of the world as recorded by secret societies such as the Freemasons. The basic premise is that "mind came before matter" - that there is a force that created the world. We didn't just conjure ourselves out of matter - life is too wonderful and mysterious for that to be so.

This, however, is a serious work of intellectual study and not a crack-pot book. This book made me think - not sure if I am a fully paid up subscriber of all its tenets but I enjoyed reading it very much.

If you are new to BookCrossing and find this book... Welcome! Enjoy the book, the site and the BookCrossing community of book lovers. You can join Bookcrossing, which is free -- or you can remain anonymous. Either way, I hope you make a journal entry for this book letting us know where it is now.

Feel free to read and keep this book, or to pass it on to a friend or even set it back out "into the wild" for someone else to find like you did.
