Received from a Paperback Swap member in Vermont.

Amy has known Jack most of her life, as he was her brother's best friend when she was a kid. After she enters a hula contest sponsored by the radio station where Jack is a deejay, they reconnect. I liked the way their relationship developed, but wasn't crazy about the plot with Amy desperately trying to win a trip to Hawaii so she can look at some land she bought sight unseen. But overall an enjoyable story.

I'm meeting up for a movie and dinner this afternoon with some friends and am passing this book on to one of them.

My friend brought several bags of books she was culling from her collection over the weekend, and this one came back to me.
