KwayFay is a young woman who lives in a squatter area of Hong Kong Island just before the takeover by China, she talks to the ghost of her great-great-…-grandmother and somehow gets caught up in some business with a triad leader who believes she can see into the future.
Hard to put down. And a great read if you’ve been to Hong Kong and know what all the places mentioned in the novel look like.

Well, this took me a bit longer to read than I expected. Some parts were interesting, and some parts were less. Most of the characters weren't very likeable.. Maybe only KwayFay, though she seemed a bit naive sometimes, and much smarter other times - the ghost bits were interesting though. It was fun to see some Cantonese words thrown in (sometimes I had to think about it a bit..the pronunciation.. but got most of them ;p), and all the places that were described (did recognize some of them).
This will be mailed to Dancesports sometime soon :)
