Blair has already survived one murder attempt when she is almost killed by a car. Her homocidal ex-husband and his new wife are safely behind bars so nobody believes that she is being targeted again. But the near misses continue and she knows that someone is after her but who..?

Journal Entry 3 by Plum-crazy from Brighouse, West Yorkshire United Kingdom on Wednesday, April 1, 2009
Woo hoo! What a lovely surprise to come home to find a book from my wishlist waiting for me! Thank you so much chucklesthescot you've made my day & you've made my WALL OF FAME...well, it's a thank you list really :o)
Well, this fought it's way up the TBR mountain, past all the books that have sat quietly for months & months (even years!)& kept yelling "pick me! pick me!", so often & so loudly that I just HAD to read it!
I've read a few of Howard's romantic thrillers now but this one was a bit of a surprise....but luckily a nice surprise! From the very first page, the writing style reminded me very much of Janet Evanovich, however that's not a problem for me (I'm not called Plum-crazy for nothing!)The will-they-won't-they banter that I've so loved in other of Howard's novels is missing here as Blair & Wyatt are already a couple & are planning their wedding...or at least trying to, someone seems to want Blair in a shroud rather than a wedding dress.
The storyline is perhaps a little thin on the thriller side but the (sexy) humour gives an altogether more fun feel to this book - great fun!
There's obviously a previous book featuring Blair & Wyatt & I for one would be more than happy to read more. Time for Steph & Morelli to move over? Well, maybe not yet....

Thank you so very much for this read. I have always enjoyed Linda Howard's books and this is one I have not read.
