Thanks Shaun! I've heard all the buzz about the movie adaptation, and I'm interested in reading this book.
I really couldn't get into this book, and I find it hard to imagine how they made a feature-length movie from the story. I found it tedious and hard to read for more than a chapter or two at a time.
It's a small book that will travel well, so I'll probably take it with me on a trip to New England in May. It will be released somewhere along the way for the 2009 Arthritis Walk - You Can Make a Difference Challenge. To learn more about the challenge and to find a Walk near you, go to: 2009 Arthritis Walk Challenge
Shaun, thanks again for offering me this book.

This was left by the front doors of the armory, but a park ranger found it before we left. There was a discussion about putting it in Lost and Found, but one of the rangers read my note on the front of the book and said he would take care of it. The last time I saw it, he had it at the desk so you may have to ask for it if you go hunting.

The book was at the Springfield Armory National Historical Site. We are currently in our motorhome traveling the New England area so we thought we would take it to another National Site, Cape Cod National Seashore Visitors Ctr.
We saw the movie so thought it would be nice to read the book too.

We left the "Reader" on a bench just inside the Visitors Center. The book was already gone when we left the center. Hope whom ever picked it up, will enjoy reading it and then sending it on it's way to a new destination.
Thanks,
John and Sue
