Bought from the $1 booksale at New Lynn today. I really enjoyed the DVDs of this journey so was very excited when I saw this book.

I read this one back in June, but have been slack with making journal entries on books lately so getting around to doing so now. Also realised I hadn't made an entry before passing this book on to annenz and simplyreflected.
I loved the tv series of this journal across the world on motorcycles. So really was happy to find a copy of this book for only $1.
This book is packed with adventure, observations, thought and doesn't gloss over the arguments and conflict that came up on the trip. I really enjoyed reading about the hospitality of people around the world that helped the guys out on their travels.
There's also a few segments of colour photos taken throughout the journey within the book.
I haven't seen (or read) Long Way Down yet but the American CouchSurfers that were staying with us gave us both series so plan on watching them soon.
