From the back cover:

"In 1985, a time capsule was buried in the front lawn of a small town courthouse, to be reopened in 2085. But just twenty years later, in the middle of the night, the capsule is dug up and its contents stolen. And that same night, one of the contributors to the capsule is brutally slain in his home - with no sign of forced entry or indication of a struggle. One by one, the other time capsule contributors are also being targeted.

Other than the sudden, mysterious appearance of the intriguing Nikita Stover, the local police have absolutely no leads. And while Nikita's no murderer, it's true she has plenty of secrets. With more at stake than anyone else realizes, the smart-talking Nikita is determined to catch this cunning killer while at the same time battling her own deepening feelings for a man and a world in which she doesn't belong."

An ex-library paperback in pretty good condition.

WOW!!! What a wonderful surprise to receive not one but THREE books in the post today...Davros-10 you're wonderful -thank you so much.

I have a sneaking suspicion this might just push it's way over quite a few other books to reach the top of Mount TBR before very long.

This book was a cracking read - I knew it would be! The back cover blurb hits the nail on the head with the comment"You can always count on three things with a Linda Howard book: suspense that'll keep you on the edge of your seat: an alpha male hero to die for: & super steamy sex"....yup, that pretty much covers it :o)

I LOVED it....& the best thing was I had no inkling of Nikita's secret, a secret which gives the whole book an intriguing twist & one that I'm not going to mention here for fear of spoiling future readers pleasure!

Orginally I planned to wild release this when read, (Davros-10 has put such a neat little label on the front & it seems a shame not to make use of it!) but I'm not sure I can bear to send it out into the great unknown so maybe it will be RABCKED. Wherever it goes I hope the next reader enjoys it as much as I did.

Thanks again Davros-10 this gift was very much appreciated.

Thanks for sending me this book, Plum-crazy (and the labels).

I haven't read any books by Linda Howard, but it sounds like the sort of book I like, so I look forward to reading it.

I really enjoyed this book. Many thanks Plum-crazy. It looks like it's going to be a straightforward mystery, but then goes off in an unexpected direction. I've never read any of Linda Howard's books before, but I will definitely look out for more of them.
