Predictable but still a pretty good story. The predictability is probably one of the biggest reasons most romances no longer appeal to me. Nora Roberts is an exception. ;-)

Rec'd today via the postman as part of a trade. Will offer up as a ray when finished.

Journal Entry 3 by top-tappser from Lake Tapps, Washington USA on Sunday, August 2, 2009
Another great Macomber story. I am going to miss these characters. I had hopes it would continue after this but according to the letter from Macomber in the front of this book it is her farewell to Buffalo Valley. Linette from the Cedar Cove series moved to Buffalo Valley and I thought there may be another story based around her.

I'm so happy that Vaughn and Carrie ended up happy in this story and I have a theory that the series is ending because Macomber does not want to deal with loosing Hattie and with her age that was bound to happen soon.

This is being sent out in a ray to many of those who took part in my Dakota Series spiral.

This book has been travling a whilte, as was collected from the post office yesterday morning, and devoured already. I was looking forward to catching up with the characters of Buffalo Valley. Planning to send to Calalilly on Thursday.

Journal Entry 7 by calalilly from Waterlooville, Hampshire United Kingdom on Sunday, October 18, 2009
Received in the post yesterday, thank you Anglersrest. Can't wait to start reading this book. and catch up with the people from the Dakota series. I have got another ring to read ahead of this but this looks as if it will be a much quicker read than the other one so it just might jump in front although that's rather naughty of me.

Journal Entry 8 by calalilly from Waterlooville, Hampshire United Kingdom on Sunday, November 8, 2009
I enjoyed this follow up in the Dakota series. Thank you Top-Tappser for sending them all out. This was so quick and easy to read.
I will be sending it off to Lyzzybee in the next few days.

Journal Entry 9 by LyzzyBee from Birmingham, West Midlands United Kingdom on Thursday, December 10, 2009
Received today - thank you! I will read SOON and get it on its way... thanks for adding me to the ring!

Buffalo Valley series no 4 - hooray! All the old favourites are back, with enough of their back story to remember them but not enough to make it slow - Macomber is so good at this. Vaughn Kyle thinks he knows what he wants out of life till a quick visit to the magical small town starts to work on him and his conscience. Happily, a Christmas story in part, which made this a nice time to read it. A very quick read but a good'un as always.

I have PM'd Southernfryed so I can get this travelling asap.

This book arrived today and I look forward to reading it and catching up with all my friends in Buffalo Valley. I have 2 bookrings ahead of it though. I will get to it as quickly as I can.

Though it was a bit predictable, I didn't quite have it all figured out. Like top-tappser, I think it is ending while Hassie is still reasonably healthy. Time to move on to another Macomber book. (What will I do, if I ever read everything she has written?) Pming skizeye9.

didn't find this book to be as good as Macomber's other but still a good read..releasing to sunfi today

Journal Entry 23 by sunfi at Dayton, Ohio USA on Saturday, August 21, 2010
Arrived safely in Ohio, I have a number of other rings/rays ahead of this one but I keep my profile updated weekly so you can always see how close this is to the top. Thanks for including me in this spiral and mailing this to me.

Update: 2 Oct 10 - Just finished this last night. I liked the final visit to Buffalo Valley, I'm a little sad to know that there won't be any more trips back there. I guess everything will be okay after all. I've contacted flossie but they would like to be skipped so I've contacted heartthumper and once I hear back I'll get this on its way.
