Synopsis
When a rotting, unidentified corpse is discovered it marks the beginning of a nightmare murder investigation for the three women living there. But is it the beginning? Or does the body lying in the ice-house mean that the police can close an old file?

This is an interesting read and a good "whodunnit". Minette Walters keeps the pace of the book going, with just enough twists and turns to keep the reader guessing the ending too quickly. Sometimes I felt a little bogged down in details, but on the whole I thoroughly enjoyed this read. It's not too taxing, but perfect as a holiday read or for curling up in front of the fire with one night.
Thanks boucli and I'll try to get it moving again soon.

Received today from GlasgowGal. Thanks!
I loved this. More twists and turns than a very twisty, turny thing. And much more to offer than just a good mystery: the characters are wonderful. I found myself sucked into the story of the three misanthropic women. A real page-turner.
