Journal Entry 1 by dawni from Windsor, Ontario Canada on Tuesday, May 13, 2003
Purchased second-hand from a Cook Street Village bookstore in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I really love Anna Quindlen's work, and this book about a woman and her son running from an abusive husband is no exception. It's gripping, suspenseful, and definitely hooks you until the very end. dawni

Good, intriguing read. Had to keep on reading to find out the ending. Heavy book, though, about an abused woman so it was not always easy to read.

Journal Entry 4 by MsBells from Victoria, British Columbia Canada on Monday, June 30, 2003
I found this book on the ferry from Victoria to Vancouver on Friday. I was so excited because I had read a newspaper article about BookCrossing and this was a great incentive to check it out. I haven't read the book yet, but it is next on my summer reading list. Thank you.
