What a charming book! It's not so much one story as more of a collection of characters and their stories. But how interesting these characters are! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, it's a heartwarming and funny, yet almost sardonic, collection of people & their individual stories. Very entertaining!

Read this while traveling in Iceland last summer. Since my boyfriend is a parttime tourleader for Iceland tours, we will keep this in our collection for a while...
