I suppose I should rate this book more highly. It was very gripping and well-written, as this author's books usually are. No one who is innocent is hurt, but at the same time, the book is very disturbing, and the images in it penetrated my dreams after I read it. So I don't think I really liked it.

Available for release -- I doubt I'm going to re-read it.

Released on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at Campsite after the confluence with the Salmon in Snake River, Oregon USA.

Released on the Oregon side of the Snake River at the first campsite north of the confluence with the Salmon River. I can't remember the name of the site, but there are Nez Perce pictographs at the north end of it. The book is under a tree by where you'd probably pitch your tents.

Unfortunately, there was a hard rain/thunderstorm the day after release, and I don't know if the book survived the weather. I'd love a journal entry if actually found!

A friend gave it to me. I plan to pass it along to another person.
