I bought this book at a library sale to release in August for the 2009 Books By the Numbers Release Challenge.
I am taking this book on a road trip in a few days and will release it somewhere between Whitehouse, Ohio and Lake Bisteneau, Louisiana. I'm not sure if I will have Internet access, but will do the release notes when I can.
WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I am leaving this book somewhere we are going to eat breakfast. It's in a ziplock bag, so should be protected from the weather.

Surprisingly good book from an author I never heard of. A mix of European French history with murder, suspense, and DaVinci Code-like puzzle solving. I will definitely follow up with the sequel "The Fire".
I never really studied French history, but after a wiki of the book, I noticed that all the French characters were actually real people who actually lived in that period, including Talleyrand, Robespierre, and of course Napoleon.
