I am taking this book on a road trip in a few days and will release it somewhere between Whitehouse, Ohio and Lake Bisteneau, Louisiana. I'm not sure if I will have Internet access, but will do the release notes when I can.

Surprisingly good book from an author I never heard of. A mix of European French history with murder, suspense, and DaVinci Code-like puzzle solving. I will definitely follow up with the sequel "The Fire".
I never really studied French history, but after a wiki of the book, I noticed that all the French characters were actually real people who actually lived in that period, including Talleyrand, Robespierre, and of course Napoleon. Just go to the link below and click some of the character names to read more about them and you will see what I'm talking about.

I am going to pass this to an ex-girlfriend that I promised this too and suggest for her to pass this to another friend of ours who I told about this book.
