There is a lot talking about McEwan and I'm really curious to read one of his books! Seems this would be the lucky one :-)

I'm quite confused about my opinion of this book...for sure I was hoping for something more...
I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. I liked the fact that it occupies with so many different matters, from political to sentimental, from medical to psychological. My biggest problem was that most of the time it seemed very tiring, with all those descriptions of even the smallest things...I will surely read something else by McEwan sometime in the future, and I hope will like it more...
