I caught this book as a trade in Bookins earlier this year. I was pleasantly surprised on how easy it was to read (Not what I expected when I start reading a book of 14th century poetry. This was a very readable translation. I am not the best judge of these things, but I thought it kept the poetic feel that the author intended.
Some of the tales were obviously better than others. There were some that I would call overly preachy. Others though were quite humorous and/or entertaining.
I have placed this book on my to be traded list on Bookins for someone else to enjoy
