I LOVE Alice Hoffman!!

This book is well written and touched my heart when I read it many years ago, however with the changes in modern medicine and social understandings since this book was written (over 20 years ago) the book is now a little dated and hasn't stood the test of time like some other of her novels.

Still an enjoyable read.

This book has been mooched and is off on a journey to the other side of the country..... enjoy!
