Joe has his life in control, by day he works in the police department and at night he does other stuff. Now there is a copy cat killer about that he must take care of.

Sounds rather like Dexter.

For me , fascinating crime novel set in a local known area. This does not happen often in the world of crime. A compulsive read, scary but convincing.

I've just started reading this book now, I'll let you know what I think about it shortly. I hadn't realised it was set in Christchurch, New Zealand.

This was a fast paced story, which I really enjoyed. Some of the situations and miscommunications almost made it a farce, but the subject matter was too dark to really allow that.
