Apocalypse, pirates, mimes, ninjas - what's not to like? Not to mention a great sprawling story with a few twists that made me laugh out loud. I read the first half of the book slowly (I was enjoying it but it wasn't amazing), but after Chapter 10 (the first huge twist) I couldn't put it down. I hope this guy (apparently the son of John le Carre) writes more soon.
