Picked up this hardback today at the Columbus (Nebraska) Library booksale.
This story tells about the life of a girl, leap-frogging over some momentous incidents, but yet getting all the feeling in it. The novel starts when Sophie is about 12, living in Pennsylvania, and continues into her 30s, living in NYC. It was a fun read, but I never really understood the point of the novel. I didn't feel that Sophie had changed all that much from beginning to end.
