I had the privilege of seeing Billy Connolly live about 4 or 5 years back on his New Zealand tour (he did a show in Greymouth which is a place most performers would miss out in their tour schedules... small town) and really enjoyed his show, extremely hilarious and very entertaining.

It was interesting reading about his early life, the tough stuff he went through (that he was able to come through it is pretty inspiring) and what influenced his comedy and music.

The author does seem to namedrop a lot of celebrities that she has met, though I did find that more interesting than annoying. There is no denying that Billy has impacted a lot of people and the industry. And that he has been in the spotlight for so long and is still relevant and entertaining really speaks how talented he is.

Plan on releasing this one soon... probably by the Robbie Burns statue in the Domain when I am there next.
