Amazon Product Description:

Adrian Mole’s pen is scribbling for the twenty-first century. Working as a bookseller and living in Leicester’s Rat Wharf; finding time to write letters of advice to Tim Henman and Tony Blair; locked in mortal combat with a vicious swan called Gielgud; measuring his expanding bald spot; and trying to escape the clutches of Marigold and win over her voluptuous sister Daisy… Adrian still yearns for a better, more meaningful world. And he’s not ready to surrender his pen yet …

I remember enjoying the original books in my younger days & bought this as part of the Penguin Celebration Collection. Of course the style is exactly the same as the old A.A.Mole diaries & was like finding a familiar old sock that had been hiding at the back of the draw!! It became clear that I had missed out some of the inbetween books as a lot had happened from his teenage to mid 30 years. I was also reading it with an old friend in mind as they seem to share a few traits - I won't go into detail which! ;0)

Overall an amusing and enjoyable read!
