This is only the second Picoult novel I've read, after My Sister's Keeper. The writing was excellent and the story unpredictable; it's not often that I finish a 400 page novel in 3 days, but I was unable to put this book down. Like most Picoult novels, however, the content is provocative and disturbing at times, more so than I expected. And I will say (without giving anything away), I didn't like the ending at all. I found it truly unrealistic.
