A fantastic book. Two of the greatest enlightenment scientists. The book goes into both the personal and the public lives of Humboldt and Gauss.

I loved this book! The story was very interesting -- I loved how Kehlmann wove the two stories together -- and the humor was right on target... I laughed out loud several times. Recommended!
