The adventures of Maureen Johnson Smith, mother of Lazarus Long. I can't say I agree with everything she says or does, but she certainly has an *interesting* life. (For what it's worth, I'm not at all sure she'd approve of me, either.)

If you're a fan of Heinlein's future history and you liked Time Enough for Love you should definitely read this.

Heinlein has long been one of my favorites; this is an extra copy for release.

Forgot to mention: I'm adding this to my list of quotes about books/reading, and it means that the book contains its own justification for my letting it go! ;) "Books are meant to be read and loved, not stored."

Missouri is the 24th state - "The Show-Me State". Again, I'll have to find out why someday. Two of my favorite authors are from Missouri - Robert A. Heinlein & Mark Twain. I think I've had a stopover in the airport (saw the Arch on the way in for landing), but I don't think I've really been to Missouri yet.
