For release. I may read this one this time. I've released it a few times before. I hear it's good.

Welcome to BookCrossing! It's a site for catching and releasing books and spreading the good karma of reading! Please make a journal entry when you FIND this book and let previous readers know how you came upon it. You may remain anonymous on this site if you like but it's very safe and spam free. We leave books around for others to stumble upon...they read, and then re-release in a public place for someone else to enjoy. Of course you're welcome to keep the book if you prefer but it's more fun to watch them travel and to hear from them once in a while. I hope you enjoy the book but I especially hope you enjoy BookCrossing.

Make the *WORLD* your library!

So strange! I don't even know why I requested this book - I had never heard of it. I guess I saw that it was a Pulitzer Prize winner, and my first husband was from Pakistan, and I could see that the writer was Indian or something.

The other night I was home alone - an unusual situation - as DH is retired and always here or with me. So I had a choice of reading or watching a movie that I didn't think he would watch. And I found The Namesake on cable! I didn't even remember requested the book then, but something must have jumped out at my unconscious. (Not really - I always read the reviews of the movie and see how many stars (*** not the movie kind - but that, too) the movie has. Anyway, I watched the movie, and it was wonderful. I can't wait to read the book!

Thanks for the RABCK!
