Left by a patron at the one of the local spots that has a BookCrossing bookshelf, so I am registering it for them and returning it to wander the world as a BookCrossing book. I have not yet read this book.

From the Publisher

Louis Holland arrives in Boston in a spring of ecological upheaval (a rash of earthquakes on the North Shore) and odd luck: the first one kills his grandmother. Louis tries to maintain his independence, but falls in love with a Harvard seismologist whose discoveries about the earthquakes' cause complicate everything.

I look at the mounds and mounds of books here all clamoring to be read, and have come to decision that one can have too long of a "to be read" list. I fear that I must let this one go to find a new reader via BookCrossing rather than keep it languishing for an eternity with me.
