Journal Entry 2 by collectorkerri at Springfield, Illinois USA on Wednesday, July 07, 2010
What an odd little book. That's about all I could think of to say about it. I didn't dislike it, necessarily, and it kept my interest enough to keep reading it, but it's not a book I would press upon friends, exhorting them to read it. It is heading off to New Jersey now, as wildflower37 was the winner of my monthly RABCK contest. Enjoy!

Journal Entry 3 by wildflower37 at Montclair, New Jersey USA on Thursday, July 15, 2010
Received as a surprise today in the mail. Just the pick me up I needed after another long day at work. I really enjoyed a previous book by this author, so I am hoping this is as rich and satisfying. Thanks for sharing with me, collectorkerri! You made my week.

Journal Entry 4 by wildflower37 at Montclair, New Jersey USA on Monday, May 30, 2011
Started reading this today - after about 30 pages, I found I couldn't stay awake (may have more to do with all the gardening I have been doing this weekend...but a sign nevertheless) and couldn't get attached to the story. I found the old-fashioned language and inclusion of family names and lineage a little confusing. I may give this one more go or look to share with another reader. Thanks, collectorkerri, for sending it along. I see you weren't totally enamored, either. Will JE when I share with the next reader.
