Received this from a friend after our wonderful Golden Retriever, Kelsey, passed away. I put it on my TBR mountain and just came across it again. It has now moved to the upper reaches of my stack and hopefully I will get to it soon. Once read, I plan on passing this along for another to enjoy and to be inspired by man's best four-footed friend.

I am offering this book for a bookring.

Yikes-I'm so sorry to have kept this book for such a long time! 300 apologies!! I sat down on Saturday and was able to read this book, cover to cover, in just about an hour. It's full of personal stories, wonderful quotes and inspirational messages as well. My favorite is a classic found on page 31..."whoever said you can't buy love has never owned a puppy." As for me, where is the heart of my home? Two words--Skip & Rocky!!

Arrived today, thanks Rebeccaljames. What a lovely book. The dog on the cover looks my labrador retriever, Tami. I started reading parts of it already. I'll try and finish it right away and get it on it's way again.

What great stories especially those of Griffin which remind me of my own labrador who sat near me as I finished this book. Well, she hasn't mastered walking herself like Griffin but, in so many ways, has showm me what unconditional love is all about. We do, indeed, have a lot to learn from our pets.
