The Line of Beauty

Purchased at the Anglesea New Years Day market when recommended by my friend. I'm always happy to read another Booker prize winner.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. An easy to read Booker prize winner (unusual compared to many other winners), and an interesting insight into the changing landscape for gay men after HIV Aids became such a killer. The story was about Nick's coming out and his relationships over a four year period, during the same period as Maggie Thatcher was in power. Nick's life with the Feddens (an MP in the government) added another dimension to the story as well as his relationship with the daughter, Catherine.
