Been on my shelf for a while, as the cover made me think it would be fluffier than I found it. Margaret is sent a letter by the mysterious writer Miss Winter to write up her biography. Margaret is intrigued, despite having never read one of Winter's books, and herself working in a bookshop. A family tale filled with twists and turns, Margaret learning more about herself in the process.
