An Idiot Girl's Christmas: True Tales from the Top of the Naughty List

Laurie Notaro is my favorite author for many reasons but the most important is she makes me laugh out loud, I laugh at inappropriate times, its uncontrollable I tell you! I laugh with her, I laugh because it reminds me of myself, because her stories remind me of my family.
So although I have kept this on my private shelf for a while, not logging it in, I have decided it is time to share this with others in hopes to make the world laugh at themselves.
I know at some point in the near future, I will replace this on my private non-bookcrossing shelf.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
As part of the 2008 Holiday Gift Giving Thread, I am sending to glade1 who has wished for this for quite some time. Happy Holidays!
Received in the mail on Friday. What a nice surprise! Thank you, dvg. I look forward to enjoying this one. (Also thank you for the tea, labels, and other goodies!)
So I'm reading Christmas books in March. I never know what I'm going to read next! I read this one over the last few days and enjoyed it, but didn't laugh out loud much. My favorite selection was the one about words and phrases the family does not say (which leads into the tale about taking Nana shopping).
My all-time favorite humorist is Dave Barry; he's the yardstick I measure all the other funny people against. Notaro is pretty funny but leans a little too far toward the sarcastic for me. This was an entertaining book but not an all-time favorite.
Thank you again, dvg, for sharing this one with me. I'm not sure what I'll do about releasing yet - RABCK or hold until Christmas or what...will post again when I decide.
