I bought this book at Heathrow with a view to reading it during my trip to Australia. It is a really large paper-back - it was a foolish thing to do since I never read it and I ended up carrying the novel all the way around Australia!
I am not sure when I will read this book but it has been on my wish list for ages so I know I will get to it eventually.

After a long hiatus, I decided to read this book. I am so glad I did - really enjoyed it. I must have spent the best part of a month reading it as the novel is very long. But I learned much about post-WW2 history (admittedly seen through the lens of the author) and more importantly, the workings of the CIA and the KGB. A great book, I hope whoever finds this novel next enjoys it as much as I did!
