The Innocent Man

Taken out of the Mini Thriller bookbox.
Disappointing. I very much enjoy Grisham's thrillers, but he just doesn't seem to have the same touch when he turns to true crime. There's not the same feeling of suspense, and the insistence upon the titular innocent man's, well, innocence, the holes in the case against him, and the iniquities of the police, becomes tiresome. I can only assume that Grisham found it distasteful to make a good story out of true life, which is a position with which I can sympathise, but it doesn't make for a good read, and I gave up half way through.
