Engaging historical/literary mystery. I've never read Dante...except for participating in an all-night reading of the Inferno one year - I think it was for Halloween (All Hallow's Eve), and I did just one segment.
Nice to experience these historical/literary figures as people instead of just names. You can even see them in the gallery of characters on the author's website.

seen the book placed on a window ledge outside the main entrance of the Hawaii State Library (main branch)on 12/24/2008.
