Amazing, amazing book. One of my favorite books of all time. It mixes all of my favorite genres into one beautifully written novel.

On it's way to South Africa
Arrived in South Africa. Thanks so much for sending, Supertalya, I REALLY look forward to reading this one.
I really enjoyed this book. Perhaps the sections dealing with the mother were too long in relation to the sections on Oscar and Lola, but overall an interesting reading experience. A friend who read it as well says she found Oscar to be a nasty, boring, repulsive character. My opinion of him is almost the exact opposite!

Will mail to UnwrittenLibra tomorrow, as it is on his wishlist.
My book #4 for guinaveve's Keep Them Moving challenge.
My book #9 for Reduce Mount TBR challenge.
Edited 1 August: I found this book, as well as some others that I thought I had sent out, in the bottom drawer of my desk at work this week. I see UnwrittenLibra now has this on his bookshelf, so I'll be sending him another RABCK this week. Released instead at the Book Fair meetup.
