My Aspenwood project has ceased due to the untimely death of the librarian. I'm moving this book along to another BookCrosser today at a Meet-Up at La Madeleine in Bethesda, Maryland. I'd already read this book - it's great!

Liked this a lot. The essays are just so sensible. Kingsolver's lyrical style is beautiful in nonfiction, while in fiction it can get schmoopy.
