A pilot's wife is taught to be prepared for the late-night knock at the door. But when Kathryn Lyons receives word that a plane flown by her husband has exploded near the coast of Ireland, she confronts the unfathomable - one startling revelation at a time ...

I really enjoyed this book. Read it as an Oprah Book Club pick. This copy, however, comes from the local library sale. Strange thing is that the book looks like it was read once. No library markings other than a D on the back of the book and black lines across the top and bottom of the closed books pages. Odd!

Received from Sweet-Pea, thanks! I enjoyed the T.V. movie (was it a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie? I dont remember). I keep saying I'm not going to ask for any more books, but every time I'd see this one I'd think about it and finally I realized I really want to read it!

Finished it this weekend, what a great book! I really enjoyed it. The writing just flows, and I became teary-eyed more than once! A co-worker is reading it now, and then it will be on it's way to MissQ in Canada.
