Agatha is taken aback when she finds a new woman encsconced in the affections of her attractive bachelor neighbougr, James Lacey. the beautiful Mary Fortune is superior in every way, especially when it comes to gardening - and with Carsely Garden Open day looming, Agatha feels this deficiency acutely.
So when Mary is discovered murdered, buried upside down in a plant pot, Agatha seizes the moment and immediately starts yanking up village secrets by their roots and digging the dirt on the hapless victim. But is this wise ? For Agatha has an awkward secret too...

It has arrived with 8 other books in the series.
I thought an update might be appreciated.
I have been swamped with rings/rays lately and just as I seem to get caught up another batch arrives. This arrived with 8 other books in the series and a few other rings/rays.
I have started reading this one and will move to the next in the series as soon as I finish this one. I hope to mail these two together. I will try to get through all I have in 2 or 3 book increments to keep them moving.

I love Agatha - whe is so very human.
This was another delightful book in the series showing Agatha's grow as a person and her becoming part of the village.

I've caught this one, along with the other 8 it was traveling with, safely in Ohio. In order to try to get this spiral moving again, I'll try to sprinkle these books in with the other rings/rays that I'm working through and start passing them on two or so at a time, to prevent anyone else from having a stack just waiting for them.
I keep my profile updated (on a weekly basis) so you can see how these are faring, I hope to have them all on their way by early Nov, sooner if other rings/rays stop showing up in my mailbox.

Hmm. I picked this up from TiffanyAching on Sunday, but looking at the journals, it appears to be part of an old book spiral. As I've already read it, I'll see if I can find out where it should be and get it moving again.
Icila is visiting Edinburgh this weekend - will take all the Agatha Raisin books from the spiral to her hotel.
