Murder Must Advertise (A Lord Peter Wimsey Mystery)
7 journalers for this copy...
Journal Entry 1 by WigglyWoods from Chorley, Lancashire United Kingdom on Wednesday, December 3, 2008
Victor Dean fell to his death on the stairs of Pym's Advertising Agency, but no one seems to be sorry. Until and inquisitive new copywriter joins the firm and asks some awkward questions...
Disguised as his disreputable cousin Death Bredon, Lord Peter Wimsey takes a job - one that soon draws him into a vicious network of blackmailers and drug pedlars.
Five people will die before Wimsey unravels a sinister and deadly plot.
A 1001 book and my next read :)

This was a really enjoyable quick read, I found it really easy to immerse myself in the story and found Lord Wimsey a very engaging main character. I did have a little trouble keeping track of all the names of the people who worked at Pyms which in fur. Made it hard to try and work out whodunnit..... I got there eventually though!
I have PMed the next participant for their address and will post this out asap!

well, finished and sent on to the next in line.
i havent read a book set so far back before i dont think, and to begin with though 'oooh i'm not going to get into this' but actuallly it was a fairly good book. there was a lot of 'stuff' at the beginning where not much went on, and then the last couple of chapters where people were murdered and the cuprit announced. but generally speaking, a good book.
one line that cought my eye and made me think of bookcrossing was something like 'he's like a favourite book - you want to read it and pass it to a friend' fitting i think, lol.
