A collection of stories and poems on aging. I think I will hang on to this one...for now...
Jan 11 I have really enjoyed this collection. I have really felt moved at the wisdom and emotion in these pages. It was a bit of luck that I found it at work, as it had been left after an elderly resident had moved on, and now it is in my hands to pass on for someone else to enjoy.
This is my next bookring, and I want to send it as far away as I possibly can to start it on its journey. I hope the next reader enjoys "Grow Old With Me..." as much as I have!
Amazon Editorial Review:
Falling in love again after being widowed, redefining roles with children, men facing retirement, women discovering new opportunities for growth--this eloquent anthology appreciates the similarities and differences between men and women aging, transforming our myths of aging into a real sense of wonder and expectation. ABA promo.

It's here :) Didn't take as long as I thought it would to arrive. As soon as I finish my current read I'll get started on this one. Thank you!
Waiting for me when I got home from work tonight. This looks a real goody - can't wait to start. Thank you so much for sharing.

I'm sorry, I just couldn't get into this as I hoped. I don't think it is the book, probably me trying to do too much and none of it very well. I enjoyed the poems, particularly "Choice" by Nancy Robertson, which I have copied out and read over and over. I'm afraid I couldn't summon up the energy to read the short stories, but that poem alone was worth the whole book. I will journal again as soon as it's in the post to the next reader.
