My first read by Kathy Reichs and most certainly my last. I've seen "Bones" a few times and think it's ok. Pathology is a fascinating subject but I think Kathy Reichs should just remain a pathologist and not write books. A bad writer, in my opinion. Two points in the book made me think that in particular - somewhere at the beginning she points out that somebody's jacket needs mentioning; why say that and not just mention it? But the part that made me laugh the most was when this guy (I don't remember names) dictates something to Tempe over the phone, she writes it down and then he says "look at how Kop is spelled with a K"... come on, any intelligent person who gets something dictated to will use the correct spelling, so no, you don't notice how Kop is spelled with a K in the original text. Some parts are just too unbeliavable! I'll see if I can find somebody who'd appreciate the book more than me...
