enjoyed and liked this book very much in the beginning. His thoughts seemed refreshingly provoking at first. Then he went from one fortune teller to the next and I just got enough from the same over and over again. I am not a very patient reader, so I did not finish this book.
Even though I think the book worth reading (the beginning was!)

hmmm, cocojo's praise for this book, especially the ending, made me regret for giving it up. So I've taken it home again, even as I had to snatch it (VERY bad behavior...) from Eprinzessin back.

I got the book yesterday on our nice little smokefree meet-up. Thank you for organising the meet-up. I liked it very much.
I will read it soon and and hand it back to sun-beetle.

I liked this book and especially the view of the author on asia. I did not care much about the fortune-teller (even some of them are amazing), but prefered the description of the countrys and their change during the time.
And I liked the idea of not flying for a year. I have to fly for work with those small planes between Zurich and east european cities and if I had the time I really would prefer to go by train.

seems like this book will not be ready to leave me before I've finished reading it... what a true soul, returning faithfully every time...
